What type of lenses do you need *
We need to get your bifocal or varifocal lenses right, this is how it works *
When you order bifoclas or varifocals we send the frames out to you before making your prescription lenses. You will use the frames to take some important measurments. Next, you'll send back your frames free of charge so that we can produce your perfect prescription lenses. We know some other websites don't do this, but we think it's important to get your glasses right. Any questions, please do contact us!

Some people might see more that one PD number on their prescrition. Measuring your PD is important and easy, please see our 'how to measure your PD' help section. If you do not add a PD measurement we will use the standard average 63mm for men and 60mm for women.

Transition lenses are the lenses that darken in the sunlight and lighten in softer light or the dark. They offer both style and convenience, and can help protect your eyes from UV. Our lenses use genuine Transitions technology.

Zipper Size

JEANS HARDWARE REFILL KIT

Refill Kit including hardware without tools, for subsequent pairs of jeans. Pair these refill kits with one of the original Jeans Hardware Kits with the tools. 

We've chosen some beautiful metal finishes, taking inspiration from our favourite ready to wear looks in denim at the moment and paired them with a high quality Australian Made YKK zipper for our refill kits.


 

What's included in the kit?

Hardware for 1 pair of jeans:

1 x YKK locking jeans zipper nickel finish (MADE IN AUSTRALIA)

1 x Zipper "top stop" for use in shortening the zipper to a custom length

1 x Jeans Button and Nail 

6 x Rivets and standard nails (most RTW jeans have 6 or less rivets per pair)

2 x Longer rivet nails (for installing rivets on bulky coin pockets - you might not need these)

** THIS KIT DOES NOT CONTAIN THE TOOLS NECESSARY TO HAMMER THE RIVETS AND BUTTONS**

 

What size zipper should I choose?

If you have a pattern in mind, definitely check the specific details and notions list within that pattern.

As a rough guide.. 15 cm is good for men and women's low-mid rise jeans, and for women some smaller sizes of high waisted jeans. 

19cm for high waisted jeans in most sizes.

We include an extra top stop per zipper so if you need to shorten your zipper, you can do this at home. You will need some pliers/metal snips etc, but after removing the required about of teeth, you can clamp the top stop above the top metal tooth to ensure you do not accidentally pull the zipper pull off the teeth altogether which might have resulted in some swear words and frustration. 

It is recommended that all of our fabric (except those that have specific care instructions noted in the product description ie. Wool) be washed in cool/cold water, no chlorine bleach or fabric softeners, phosphate free soap,  tumble dry low with like colors or to maximize longevity, line dry.
