Multi-Sized Pattern: SM - XL

With this sewing pattern, you can make four different sized rugged totes or portfolio totes to take anywhere -- to the beach, to the market, to the pool, to school, on overnight trips. With all the size options, you can make one for any occasion (or for gifts). Each tote has two outside pockets and one inside zippered pocket, as well as an optional key holder, and two options for handle length. Make them with a combination of different fabrics for a fun and personalized tote, or add patches or embroidery.
Rugged Tote in four sizes:
Small: 11.75"h x 9.5"w x 5"d
Medium: 13.25"h x 13"w x 6"d
Large: 15"h x 16.5"w x 7.5"d
XLarge: 16"h x 19"w x 8.5"d
Portfolio in four sizes:
Small: 14.25"h x 14.5"w
Medium: 16.25"h x 19"w
Large: 19"h x 24"w
XLarge: 20.25"h x 27"w
Suggested Fabrics:
Waterproof nylon pack cloth, cordura, canvas, denim, or other rugged fabric.
Notions:
Polyester thread (coordinating and contrasting): Optional inside pocket: 1/4 yd (.23m) #5 coil zipper, one #5 coil zipper pull; Optional key holder: one 1" (2.5cm) D-ring or tri-ring.
