Basic T-shirts should not be missing in any closet, because they form the basis for many looks. For simple pieces like this, the most important thing is a good fit and high-quality materials. You can sew the T-shirt in sizes XS-XXXL. Which one you sew, you decide when you cut the sewing pattern.

There is nothing more frustrating than when a homemade garment ends up fitting poorly. That’s over now! Because when you take the time to sew a garment yourself, you deserve it to be perfect. That’s why our sewing patterns are now also available “Customized to your measurements”. How does it work? Order the sewing pattern “Customized to your measurements”, measure yourself according to our instructions and enter your current measurements in our form. Our designers then construct your individual pattern. You will receive it within 1 to maximum 2 weeks after filling out the form as paper pattern or digital pattern by email and can start sewing without fear that your garment will not fit in the end as expected.

Required materials

• light to medium weight stretch jersey fabric, e.g. organic cotton jersey at a fabric width of at least 140cm (1.5yd): XS-M: 65cm (0.7yd) | L-XXXL: 80cm (0.9yd)
  
• matching sewing thread
  
• Sewing machine with jersey sewing machine needle suitable for fabric thickness
  Tip: We use a medium weight GOTS certified organic cotton jersey made of 95% cotton and 5% elastane with a weight of 200g/sqm for the Basic T-Shirt.

Size chart

Which size is the right one? As always, take a look at our size chart. The crucial measurement for our The Basic T-Shirt is your chest circumference. Even if your measurement is slightly off, it’s not a problem! The stretchy fabric allows for a cool and casual fit on all of us!
