Light and airy yet elegant, our sewing pattern for The Rory Dress scores with a flared hem and midi length. Whether festive or casual, the DIY dress is a true all-rounder that you can reach for again and again. Our highlight? Definitely the flared sleeves. And don’t worry about the seam-covered zipper! There is nothing more frustrating than when a homemade garment ends up fitting poorly. That’s over now! Because when you take the time to sew a garment yourself, you deserve it to be perfect. That’s why our sewing patterns are now also available “Customized to your measurements”. How does it work? Order the option “Customized to your measurements”, measure yourself according to our instructions and enter your current measurements in our form. Our designers then construct your individual pattern. You will receive it within 1 to maximum 2 weeks after filling out the form as paper pattern or digital pattern by email and can start sewing without fear that your garment will not fit in the end as expected.

• light to medium weight, flowing fabric without or with little elastane, e.g. cotton denim or linen with a fabric width of at least 140cm (1.5yd):
  XS-S: 310cm (3.39yd) | M-L: 320cm (3.5yd) | XL-XXL: 330cm (3.61yd) | XXXL: 335cm (3.66yd)
• an invisible zipper with a length of 60cm (24in)
• Interfacing for ironing on, e.g. H200 with a width of at least 90cm (1yd): XS-XXXL: 40cm (0.44yd)
• matching sewing thread
• Sewing machine with sewing needle suitable for fabric thickness and presser foot for seam concealed zippers and presser foot for normal zippers
  Tip: We use a lightweight 100% cotton denim with a weight of 130g/sqm for the Rory Dress.

Measure your chest, waist and hip circumference and check the chart to see which size most closely matches your own measurements. For the Rory Dress, pay special attention to the chest measurement. Since the dress is flared, you won’t have to worry if your hip measurement is off.
